from Sloan’s computer at ONU

So that happened. -grins-

Not even an hour after I wrote that last line of the last entry, I was in Josh’s car and en route to ONU. Craziness, ehh? Well, Meg was right… Josh is a very good driver, which is saying something coming from me. Total trust. Was a little windy, but it wasn’t snowing or anything, so the weather coming up wasn’t bad at all.

The weekend has been so much fun – definitely worth coming. I finally know who all of those people are that Sloan’s always talking about… Abby, Stephanie, Melissa, Rick, Tex, Rachel, Angie, and of course more quality time with James. Alright, for those of you who experienced the sick boring quiet James at Sloan’s party, there is good news for you kids. James is really funny… a hard ass of sorts… much friendly banter. Which is great, because I get more comfortable with those types of surroundings. Don’t worry, Sloan’s not completely insane… he’s cool. As are the rest of her friends… I seriously really like them all. So glad I came… so glad.

Although right now we’re a little worried about the weather. (Especially Mom… she’s flipping out.)

At any rate, Josh is picking me up in about a half an hour, then we’re picking up Nate, and proceeding to attempt to drive back down. Unfortunately, there’s horrible weather and snow and wind everywhere, and I’m guessing it will take at least twice the time it should to get back. Everyone’s a little worried, so I hope we’re ok going back… I think it’ll be better than we expect, especially because we’re waiting until relatively late in the day to go. Be praying for us, ok?

I’m actually a little homesick. Well, it’s weird actually, because I feel almost completely at home here now, but I still miss my room, and all my M/M friends… and even the straight up college friends too. (Like Alex… Nate and Dane, and maybe Jeff and Chris B. too…) I miss campus and our dorm… and our food… man I miss our food. But I’m still soooo glad I came here… I really do like it.
