God I love that movie.

Ich fuehle mich ein bisschen krank. That and the entire I’m sick of high school thing. I really should’ve stayed home Wednesday, on my birthday. I felt the worst then. I wasn’t going to stay home yesterday, because our english classes were going to see the play and I only had to go to 2 classes. So this morning, I got out of the shower, and my mom asks, “Do you want to stay home?” Now how the heck is a high school senior who’s utterly sick of school supposed to respond to that? We talked for about 5 minutes. I kept saying I don’t feel bad enough to warrant staying home, but I do still feel crummy and sleep deprived. I was saying I should just go… and she kept saying… you can stay home if you want… So finally we decided I was going back to sleep.

I’m sniffling, and this morning I was coughing, and I just feel crummy in general. So I don’t feel too bad about staying home. Already I’ve done most of my calculus homework that’s due Monday. I took out my German, but so far I’ve yet to touch that. Meanwhile, the DVD of “You’ve Got Mail” is playing. Beautiful… it probably explains why I’m online at this moment. It also makes me happy to see the scene where Meg Ryan is sick and miserable and Tom Hanks wants to be friends with her. Love it.

And now I should quote another great Meg Ryan – Tom Hanks movie, “Sleepless in Seattle.” “You don’t want to be in love. You want to be in love in a movie!” Just subsitute the you for an I, and there we have it. Maybe you could switch movie to “a Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks movie” as well. Or even just a Meg Ryan movie for that matter. Let’s not forget “I.Q.” and “When Harry met Sally.” Good Lord, aren’t those all the stories of my life. Online, internet, wanting things you can’t have, thinking, stars, wahoo, men and women can never be friends unless they both have significant others. Any of this sounding familiar? OH THAT’S RIGHT… IT’S MY LIFE!

“Ooh baby, signed sealed delivered!” I love Stevie Wonder. I love this movie. This is the part where she’s sick and she’s sneezing from her apartment… and it’s just wonderful. Because I feel like that right now, except no one’s knocking on my door to be friends with me and make sure I’m ok. RAMBLING. (HAH, “I.Q.”) If “The Godfather” is the I Ching, then so are… well all of these chick flick movies.

By the way, the title is from “Sleepless in Seattle.” -grins-

I have never seen You’ve Got Mail or When Harry Met Sally…this that a crime? I believe it is. Maybe one day I will. maybe. I’m not really in the mood to see a movie where two people are all happy and in love. blech.

I watched that movie. It’s a good one eh? Right? Right.
