an entry that hadn’t saved…
I love reading entries like that one Meg just posted and knowing the outcome. Knowing that she did in fact receive that call and that it’s all so happy and giddy and wonderful! *smiles* Ahh, and I somehow love the fact that it started materializing more than ever at my party… I love that it was me, Nolan, Shaun, Emily, Meg, and Tim all caroling when everyone else was too cold. Beautiful. Meg I’m so happy for you!
Hmm, did I mention Meg’s car got broken into during my party? She was crying hysterically at my house when she found out… her clothes… everything strewn all over the parking lot of the school. But there was one hugely great thing about the incident. She was sobbing and going over everything that she found, and she sobbed the most when discussing the history binder whose contents were all out of order now! *laughs* Ahh, the nerdiness of us all! It just made me laugh so hard to know that, while Meg was all distraught, the one thing she kept thinking about was how her history binder was all out of order! The insanity of our level of dedication to nerd-dom is overwhelming.
I received the packet from the honors college today. I’m definitely accepted, and have to now work on writing responses to the three questions they’ve asked us. Come on… we’ve already been accepted and they’re still making us write more! Geez… of all the nerve. At least it will give me a little bit of free writing… not that I need any more in the first place.
Last night was Carrie’s caroling party. It was nice to see my brother and sister figures. Dominic, Amy, Ryan, Becky… all going in a thousand directions at once. Music music theater music Spain…
Becky talking: “English… oh by the way who do you have for english? Ms. Geisler… Ohh, she’s awesome! I KNOW! Are you in honors or AP? AP So was I… (me too, me too) What are you guys reading? Rosencrantz and Gildenstern are Dead. That was a great book… I mean play…”
That was pretty much the conversation for a few minutes. Everyone reminiscing to AP English. Dominic deciding that he’d love to take that class again. My sister agreeing. I think she’s been saying that since the summer she went off to college.
