a loose leaf paper & pencil entry *gasp*

I’m finding myself, much to my chagrin, stuck here in the lovely, hot, humid, unbearably ugly student center. It’s mod 14… Haven’t I suffered enough after spending 13 here? Well, I decided to not go to the computer lab today and join Sloan, Phil, and Devin instead. I’m sure it won’t be bad once we have homework to do, but at this point it’s quite boring. Naturally, I decided to write.

Loose-leaf paper. I despise it. It’s so rigid… and yet so not fresh. Once the pencil is on it, it just gets worse. Before you know it, you have those miserable lead (or graphite as it were) smudges covering it. And the paper is so easily mangled, and so hard to collect as ONE. One notebook, one diary, one journal. Instead it’s seperate. And not happily so, I think.

Did I ever mention that I hate people? Yeah, because some of my classmates in this place are just strange. Annoying, loud, rude… you know, the basic hateable traits.

Despite these rather negative thoughts, I am having a wonderful day. Outside for band I just kept giggling. It was strange yet pleasant. Of course, that mood was almost spoiled by my tendencies to mutter some very TRUE comments under my breath. FIRST of all, he accuses us of slowing down. Now I find this rather humorous, considering we follow him… and trust me, he’s slowing down. His mistake is this: In trying to speed us up, his arm movements become larger… more ape-like. When you conduct, as a general rule, larger movements make the band go slower. Smaller is perceived as faster. Grr. Bah.

Anyway, I think the bell’s going to ring pretty soon here. So I’ll just be
