watch out OD… the saxy sisters have united
I am one high-tech dreamerchic… err, I mean grrl! Yup yup… I definately have a PalmPilot. Definately. My dad came home tonight, telling us he’d bought a new Handspring, and would I like his old PalmPilot? Um, yeah? Wow. Goodness. So my phone book has been almost completely moved over to my palm device, I’ve started adding dates to my calendar, and yes I’m feeling good.
Say goodbye to PenguinLord… for he is leaving for 22 miserable days. *pouts* I shall miss you, Sean! (but at least he’s reading 1984 with me! *laughs* Good news for all you slackers… I didn’t read at all today, so if you used your time wisely you have caught up with me… nice and more than halfway through the book. If you’re not reading Goldstein’s book within the book right now, you’re not where you should be.
So I really didn’t like that college I visited today. I mean, it wasn’t horrible, but the other remains at the top of my list. It just didn’t feel like I belonged there… I didn’t like the atmosphere… the campus just wasn’t what I dream of. I really want a walking campus… that I have discovered. Which is good because FINALLY I’m starting to know what I’m looking for in a college, and I know I don’t want roads going through the middle of a campus. So there!
Um, hi, is anyone ELSE totally happy for Erin the pixie Erin? Goodness gracious! She has the perfect… well situation. Completely. Boyfriend named Josh… (my dream? what?) perfect date involving walking on the beach at night holding hands (dream date of everyone? what?), and first kiss from perfect boyfriend named Josh. Are we seeing the perfection in this entire scenario? Well I am anyway… 🙂 I’m really very happy for you, dear!
Um, Jared’s talking about mental hospitals and such? I’m really not sure if he thinks he needs help or not. He says it was just something he was pondering… asking a lot of questions about it. If there’s something wrong then goodness let’s do something about it… but I can’t tell. I’m not sure he’ll get help if he needs it… though somehow I can see him trying to get help when he doesn’t. Does that make sense? Probably not. Jared’s a strange kid… but I do love that boy. Hmm, he seems to be saying it’s just a random thought after he was watching stuff on tv… completely believeable. But I’m not sure I believe him. Ahh well.
*addicted to Lifehouse CD* I think they’re Christian. Not only by the fact that they thanked God in the acknowledgements… because a lot of groups do that. But also… Lifehouse… it’s very Christian… it’s combining the traditional lighthouse image of God and what God gives us… life. I really really like that name. And perhaps it’s not intended to be that way, but I have a sneaking suspicion that they started off as a Christian band and then decided to make a living by going, well, you know mainstream or whatever. If you listen to their words they talk about grace and faith a little… just a thought. Christian or not… I LOVE this CD.
If you have not yet purchased Timeline, I suggest you do it while you’re out tomorrow. As soon as I’ve finished 1984 and have had proper time to digest all its intricacies, we will move right on to that. I believe it’s by Michael Crichton, and supposedly it is a good book. Being a Crichton book, I have no doubts it will move much quicker (and perhaps on an easier level if any of you are concerned with this) than our current selection. It is intended to provide a breather, of sorts, though I hear it too has many points to ponder. Luckily, in a book like that, we won’t have to be especially perceptive, because in the end we’ll know all regardless. (This does not make it a bad book… it just makes it a fun book! – Wait, all books are fun. Err, scratch that.)
OOOH, and EMMA! Welcome to the OD, dear! ::hugs:: It’s official… all 3 of my saxy sisters (plus my not-so-saxy sister) are on OD! *gets all excited* It started all with me… then Aims, then Kim, then Meg, and now FINALLY, completely TOPPING IT OFF, we have Emma, the caffiene-addicted rather clutsy birth defect of a blonde tenor saxophone who’s lover, Alex, wants to see her immediately and who cannot, for the life of her, figure out computers. How she’s going to maintain a diary, I’ll never know. ::hugs Emma:: (yes, I know you’re going to cry now, and I know you said “but Erin!” when I got to the Alex part, and I know you said, “I don’t wanna be a birth defect” when I called you such… but you’ll live)
And with that, I’m being *forever*

But Erin…you ARE going to make me cry, and I’m NOT the birth defect or a clutz!!! However, I am addicted to diet coke, and I haven’t a clue how to work stupid computers! Also, I think that the boys NEED to come and visit us…it would make me très happy! Je t’aime!

It’s me again…I just thought that I would like to inform you that I did not really enjoy 1984. I think that that was because I was forced into reading it by my 9th grade teacher. I really enjoy reading novels female heroes… I really want to read Emma because it is about me! Well, I love you (again)!

Brenni had another wonderful night at work tonight 😉 I don’t like Lifehouse’s single. It just, gets on my nerves. I think it’s not hardcore enough for me, cause, you know..I’m such a badass and all. *hugs to erin* I love ya girlie 🙂

I’m not used to perfection, so it’s a little weird for me. Anyways, go dreamergrrl and her new palm pilot (those things kick ass!)
