academics? hi… wrong…

SOOOOO this has been an awesome day academically speaking. Let’s see, today at the end of the day we had the junior awards assembly. Waste of time? Um, yeah most of it was. We all have to parade across the stage while they say “Summa Cum Laude and 2nd year Principal’s Award” or whatever… woo hoo… because that’s an achievement? Except not. I guess I shouldn’t say that, because it is for some people. But then there are those of us who are getting way above that, but whatever.

Then came the special awards. I wasn’t supposed to get one this year. On our little cards it wasn’t even marked off for me, so I didn’t bother to get my hopes up. The only two I thought I might get were chemistry and German, but it had already been announced in class a trillion times that Bob was receiving the German award. Now with no check in the “special awards” category, I pretty much knew chemistry was out too. So when they said “yadda yadda yadda German award yadda yadda yadda”… “goes to Erin {ins my last name} and Bob {ins last name}” I about fell over. WHAT? LOL! How great is that?? I wasn’t supposed to get it, and I did! It’s so like our freshman year. We were the two departmentals for German then too. Tricky… *yes, Chris is SHAFTED again… by the same girl (moi) again…* Ahh, lovely.

After school I went to go pick up my research paper from English. We were supposed to pick them up during class, but um, I was at the awards assembly. At any rate, I looked through all my grades, and subtracted all of my lost points from 250… and what do you suppose this dreamergrrl got? Um, hi 247? I only lost 3 freaking points on the entire paper!!!!! WOOO-HOOO! *does a little dance* Now all I need is a male, and I’ll be just fine…

I think I’ll end this entry now, and write ANOTHER one of die Deutsche satze… Ooh, spass!
