getting ready for prom

OOOOH I’m so excited. So so so so excited. I got out of school at 11, came home, and started getting ready. *ahh* ‘Tis lovely, I tell you! I repainted two of my fingernails, shaved, and now I’m doing my machine so that perhaps I’ll be able to breathe tonight. *sigh* Then my Grandma’s coming in about a half an hour. I’m getting my hair done at 2, coming home to do my makeup and change into all the crap a girl has to put on in order to just wear a freaking dress! But that’s ok… because it’ll be absolutely lovely. Perhaps I’ll post a picture of just my dress sometime.

At any rate, I expect that Andy and Alex will be here somewhere between 4:30 and 5… then we’ll take pictures! (aww) After that it’s off to Kim’s, where we’ll take more pictures, and then off to DADDY V’s at 5:30!!!! HOW GREAT IS THAT??? Very very great. Dinner is at 6:30, and then we’ll actually go to the Prom itself! Goodness, I’m so so very excited. I can’t wait to see my hair! This beforehand process is way more fun than the dance itself, but I hope I actually get up the guts TO dance. Bah. Me and my self-consciousness. And especially with a date? Even if it is just as friends. Remind me to pick up his boutineer.

Tomorrow we’re off to ride the Raptor and Millennium Force and other such fun things. Perhaps not MF, though… long lines.
