I have you right where I want you…

I really do. I actually did intend to write last night, but go sidetracked, thus the promise. Well my very small little entry prompted such a response that I could say any number of things and know all of you would read it. You HAVE to read what I’m writing, just to find out what I was GOING to write about yesterday. How great is this?

April is turning out to be a lovely month, despite that snow we got. Let’s see, it’s officially spring, and we’ve all officially broken out all the cute little spring outfits. For example, today I am wearing khakis with my pink and white checker-ed 3/4 length sleeve shirt. I took my matching purse to school of course, and I have my hair back in a ponytail held with a pink and white band. Aww… and Aims was wearing jean capris with an ADORABLE spring sweater set type of deal. It was light green stripes *I think* and her hair was so curly! Aww… everyone just looked so READY for spring!

The past two days have been exceptionally lovely in my school. We’ve had this Youth in Government thing going on, as well as a few other “meeting” type of deals. Basically this means that for the past week (and mostly past two days) all these wonderful smart junior males have been looking very very smooth… with their suits on and lovely ties and… well just looking so nice! German (have I mentioned that German is just the best class ever? – wow I’m in a Meg-esque mood) was great. Mrs. W made all the guys that were dressed up stand… thus allowing us to pretty much look them over. She went on about how someday these will be the businessmen and college boys who will open doors for the girls and wonderful husbands, “yadda yadda yadda”… it was so cute. Yesterday Jon looked mighty spiffy… very spiffy indeed. He came in to English class late (coming from a luncheon for Y in G) and was wearing this black-ish very nice suit, with a dark blue shirt and a silver tie. It was very nice… and I told him so online later. Um, hi we’ve been talking online a lot? Well, usually because I make him talk… but still… Then today it was Brian and Joe and Steve and… aww.

Lately the school is just so FILLED with spring-ness and wonderfully dressed people and great people in general!!! Take, for instance, Jay… called me last night from work to try and figure out our insane lab. I’ve never talked to Jay on the phone, I don’t think, but it’s just like in person… even though we were utterly baffel-ed by it all, I enjoyed chatting with him. Walking to German from History with Meg and Steve… lovely. BEING in German… we discussed dating yesterday, and goodness it was so funny and so perfect. Then today half of the class was missing (all the suited men had to leave in the beginning of class), but we had skits today. There were only 3 groups, and I believe less people make skits a heck of a lot more fun. Why is this??? Hmm… but anyway, the group was Meg, Schenk, and Liz… aww how perfect is that? SO much fun. Would’ve been more perfect had Steve been in our group. It was funny, though, cause he sat with our group anyway. Lol… yeah what great guys.

I’m getting along with Kate! I find myself finding her unusually amusing, so I can totally tolerate that. Jill is another story. I’m getting better… I’m working hard at tolerating her… but I can’t find her annoyances amusing in the least. Ahh well. Emma wasn’t there today… isn’t that sad? At least Aims and Kim were. (the saxy saxes who did attend school were all adorably deck-ed out in spring things) Myrtle Beach is so going to rock with the four of us… 😀 *grins*

As always, I’m

~swept away in spring chipperness~
