My non-homecoming homecoming

Soooo at around 6:30 last night I went and picked up Jill and Laura. We proceeded to Olive Garden where we met Aims and learned that there was a 2-3 HOUR waiting list (most likely due to fricking homecoming). Fine… great. So we decided to see what the wait was at other restaurants, and headed to Cooker. It was only a 20 minute wait! Yay! We had a really good dinner and had a blast talking and laughing and making fun of spikey boy. (This one guy dressed for homecoming with this huge group of people had an entire head brace thing with spikes on it… like a dog collar or one of those bracelets, except it was surrounding his entire head!)

After that we drove to Camelot to pick up some more Grateful Dead beany bear things – I swear they’re sooooo adorable. Then we drove to DQ for some ice cream and went through the drive-thru.

At Aims’ house we settled in, changed our clothes, ate ice cream, and watched Ever After. Ok, I LOVE that movie… “‘It is not fair… you have found my weakness, but I have yet to find yours.’ ‘I should think it is quite obvious.'” Shoot me! *sigh* “‘It is your mouth which has my hypnotized.'” *SIGH* Ok yeah so chick flick – lots of sighs there.

Then I logged online for a second or maybe a few minutes and we waited for Becky and Ashley to show up. They came, and then we watched The Matrix. Ok, so it’s not a chick flick, but it’s totally one of my favorite movies. “There is no spoon.” Hehe gotta love it.

After that we pretty much decided to go to sleep, so I popped You’ve Got Mail in the VCR to fall asleep to. Ok… YEAH THAT’S THE BEST MOVIE EVER! “The thing about the internet is, you’re more likely to talk about nothing than something. But I just wanted you to know that all these nothings have meant more than so many… somethings.”

This morning I woke up at 7:30 and took a shower/got ready while everyone was sprawled all over the floor. Hehe, it sucked to be up after 4 hours of sleep. Really, it did. But that’s ok, cause I drove to church and sang in the youth choir and that was fine.

So now I’m home, exhausted, and not wanting to do anything. FUN! Hehe 🙂
