Happy 4th

Happy fourth of July! My entire weekend – hmm, it’s Tuesday now isn’t it… well, it’s STILL the weekend – was spent down at a family reunion. We hung out with grandparents but also with cousins I never see. One set of cousins I actually pray for the time when they finally leave, but the other family is awesome. They were really fun to hang out with, as always, and I’m actually going to get to see them in about a week when I fly down to shadow my uncle.

Anyway, the time spent with my grandpa on my mom’s side was interesting as always. He watched baseball pretty much the whole time. He’s getting to be so old, and we have NOTHING in common. Drives me UP THE WALL. But whatever. All in all I had a decent weekend. Boring at times, and I had to sleep on an uncomfortable couch for 3 nights with the danged air conditioner on full blast… but other than that! Lol. Wow I’m being pessimistic.

Tonight my family sat outside in the side yard to watch the fireworks display that’s put on at the high school. It was AWESOME this year! It was really long, and really good. I’m glad we saw it from here, but I would’ve enjoyed hanging out with my friends. You see, Aims invited me to Nicole’s house, who I’m also friends with. The high school is even closer to her house than mine… My mom, when I asked, started shaking her head no before I even finished asking. Nice. It’s not like I didn’t spend 4 days with the family… Whatever.
