So who went on the Millenium Force yesterday? I did I did! I even bought a picture to prove it cause no one will believe me!

For those of you who live sheltered lives and do not know the scoop on this bad @$$, I will tell you what exactly this roller coaster is. It makes its home at Cedar Point, and is the world’s tallest roller coaster. The first hill is something like 309 feet. The drop has almost no slope… (for you non-math wizzes out there, it does not mean horizontal – that would be zero slope – it means it is basically straight down). It exceeds 80 miles per hour I believe, and has broken something like 10 records. Oh, and did I mention that instead of using a chain lift for the first hill, it uses whatever mechanism an elevator uses? It takes no time at all to get to the top – no time to rethink – you’re on, you’re up, you’re flying.

It was the most incredible feeling in the world! Oh my goodness… it was totally petrifying, but at the same time totally sweet! Going down the hill, you were soo steep, and going sooo fast that you felt NOTHING underneath you. It just felt like suddenly you were airborn – and not for the usually 2 seconds a hill gives you, but the ENTIRE way down all 309 feet of track. The track’s length is something like 3 miles… I don’t quite remember, and it lasts 2 minutes and 40 some seconds. All the hills were incredible, and wow – the G force – WOW!

Yes, if you read an earlier entry you recall my saying no one would EVER EVER EVER get me on that thing. Well they didn’t two weeks ago, but I did yesterday man! Wow. After that the Magnum (the previous tallest roller coaster in the park, and one-time tallest in the world) seemed like NOTHING. Haha, we were like – what, 200 feet?? Pshaw! Hehe.

Oh well, we had SOO much fun! I rode the following things in this order: Raptor (MY FAVE), Millenium Force, Mantis, Gemini, Magnum, Power Tower (going up, not down), and the Raptor again. It was sweet. It was my first time on both the Millenium force and the Power Tower. Haha, it was awesome!
