Chop suey
I had a fun and fruitful gym workout today.
After my regular running, strengthening and biking, the gym instructor asked me if I wanted to do some rounds of boxing with him.
After 15 minutes of boxing basic tutorial (stance, jab, straight, hook, and uppercut), I was already sweating like a pig!
It was a great cardio exercise! I’ll be back again next week. Hopefully, with a gloves of my own.
While cooling down, I was doing a bit of dancing, so he asked if I was into dancing. Then he suggested doing the Zumba as my cardio exercise. We opened a Zumba class from the selection of DVDs. A colleague came in and we started right from the top. However, she wanted to do hip hop, but I suggested belly-dancing instead.
So we started belly-dancing and it was interesting! We don’t even have to bring sneakers to the office because we can exercise barefoot!
After 2 hours in the gym, I had to rush in the shower and back to work. Too bad I didn’t finish belly-dancing… I’ll be back Monday.
I can do this!
Wooh! I’m already motivated because it feels good to wear my old clothes again. The ones I used to wear in 2009 and 2010. I shed off 20 pounds in 5 months, although I had to stop at some point due to knee pain and flu.
Okay, so back to work now.
