Scary lightning

Last night there was another incident of electrocution by lightning. People from the rice field were seeking shelter from a nipa hut, then a guy raised his cellphone to find signal. Probably to send word to his family that he won’t be home soon. Then a lightning hit him, burning another guy with him. There were others who got hurt too, I heard.

This wasn’t the first time that there were people died because of a lightning bolt. There are lots of cases near where I live. Most of the land here are open spaces or rice fields…

I got busy with meetings that I forgot that my shift is almost over and I need to go home. 🙂
