Rainy Days

Rainy days like today make me happy.

I have a get-together to go to later at the pool, but I think it’ll clear up before then. 

And if it doesn’t, I’m not too upset. 

The feeling I get from a rainy day is a hard one to explain.  It’s almost as if I feel more secure – the rain like a blanket around me, protecting me from the world.

Sunshine puts me in a good mood too, but nothing compares to a nice rainy day.
