happy sigh

wow.  i just feel so happy right now.  things with brian are good.  i think i’ve come on a bit to strong over the past few days so i backed off.  wednesday was wonderful.  he came over right after work (he works not too far from my house) and he was all dressed nice and smelled yummy.  he had got some beer for me and some whiskey for himself and we sat and had a few drinks and talked.  he told me he enjoys spending time with me and the sex is a bonus, but he told me that i seem to be in it just for the sex and not interested in him.  but i really am!  so, i need to fix that.  we talked about how excited our parents would be if we got together (our dads are friends) and how we both act in relationships.  we had amazing sex.  seriously, he is definitely one of the best i’ve had.  somehow, we ended up talking about food and he said he liked living near this diner cause he could get food at anytime.  i told him i loved diner breakfast food and mentioned that i had a recipe for pumpkin pancakes.  he said he couldn’t cook, but if i told him the day before i made the pancakes, he would come over and help me eat them lol.  so, thats a good thing.  somehow, i think i remember him saying something about getting a hotel room one night so we could spend the night together (he is allergic to my cat and would have an allergy attack if he stayed here a whole night).  everytime he mentioned that he liked spending time with me and that he enjoys my company, i told him that if he is changing the rules to let me know.  i guess that wasn’t enough for him to realize that i’m interested too.  i need to figure out how to show him without coming on too strong.  i didn’t text him today cause he was up visiting his parents for thanksgiving.  i think i’m gonna wait and see when he texts me.  if he does it tomorrow, i’ll have to think of something quick–like inviting him over one night.  but, my plan is to ask him at the end of this coming week if he wants to come over for dinner one night the following week.  fingers crossed he says yes!

oh, and we also talked about our favorite first date restaurants.  he didn’t want to tell me his–i secretly hope its because he wants to take me there 🙂  i also talked to meg about inviting him to a hockey game this season.  i’m thinking too far ahead but these are things i would LOVE to do with him!

think positive for me–i’ve waited YEARS for this boy and i know we would be awesome together!
