who is good with words??

i need a bit of help.  kevin has his custody court date tomorrow (its the first one, i’m not sure what will happen during court).  i want to send him a nice text in the morning, basically telling him i’m thinking positive for him and i’m there for him.  how can i say that without sounding stupid/desperate/needy/clingy?

i did back off on texting him today.  i waited and waited and checked my phone all day.  he finally texted me at the end of the day asking how my day was.  yay cause that means he was thinking about me!  right??  i told him real quick that my day was ok and i was going to be working late tonight.  i texted him when i got home and asked how his day was.  he said it was good and he was trying to get the kids to bed because they had to get up early.  i asked him if he had all his paperwork ready and to try benadryl on the kids (also told him i was joking about that!!!!!!)  haven’t heard back yet.  i’m assuming he is stressed and nervous.  he said he was a little nervous yesterday.  so i can only imagine he is getting more worried and nervous since its only a few more hours.  i’d rather he communicate that with me so i don’t have to have 50 million negative thoughts racing thru my mind.  that is something we can work on.

i am glad that he made 1st contact today.  gotta keep the positive things in mind!  its what i wanted him to do and he did it.  i just gotta keep thinking positive and it will work out!
