back to work tomorrow :(

i have to go back to work tomorrow 🙁  i’m not ready for my summer vacation to be over!!!  the plus side is that the day will go by faster and i get to hang out with my awesome coworkers. 

to celebrate the last day of summer, a teacher friend and i always have "kid day."  we eat kid food and watch kid movies.  today we had dinosaur nuggets, mashed potato smiles, halloween cake (no back to school cupcakes) and we watched "how to train your dragon", "something borrowed", and "hook."  it was fun! 

while we were hanging out, i was telling her about kevin and lo and behold, he texted me as i was talking about him!  i told him that and asked him if his ears were burning?  he replied "lol but thats scary.  a good scary"  SWOON!    later, he texted me a pic of him driving with his shirt off.  he explained he got caught in the rain and his shirt got soaked.  god, that pic was hot.  he was all scruffy and handsome.  i adore him 🙂 

i was working on my knitting today.  i think i’m gonna knit him a scarf for christmas.  a brick red one, maybe.  i am still not good at my tension when knitting and purling, so i think this scarf will be an all knit stitch one.  i was working on that with my practice yarn and my knitting looks decent.  the edges, not so great, but the rest is fine.  i hope he likes it 🙂

i guess i should get ready for bed since i have to be up early!  i am actually looking forward to it since i got the book "the help."  it was on sale at target and i really want to read it.
