stopping by to say hello.

ryn: Hey sweetie, I wasn’t picking on Oprah or looking for the negative. I think she looks great and really hadn’t noticed her weight gain until SHE mentioned it. I think Oprah deserves much credit for all the good she has done in the world. The point of my entry was that she feels the need to ADVERTISE that on Jan. 5 she will use the entire show to explain how and why she gained the weight back.Maybe I had a knee jerk reaction to her ad and should have waited to hear what she has to say. Now that I think about it, whatever she says will probably help somebody or many somebodys. People who have a problem with food and weight find support in hearing how others struggle and what they learn. Just like like alcoholics…. Maybe I was rolling my eyes at Oprah’s ad to explain why she gained weight because I’ve been told SO MANY TIMES (by recovering AA people) when I try to explain WHY I started drinking again: “Nevermind all that. The reason you started drinking again is because you’re an alcoholic.” I will watch Oprah’s show and listen to what she has to say. Like I said, I think she looks great. She is the one who evidentally finds her weight gain..

(con’d)…such a negative thing that she is calling attention to it with this tv ad for her Jan. 5 explanation. Love you, P
