The other day I read Jims entry entitled Dreams. Its a subject that fascinates me. I wish I knew more about them, and not just someones interpretation of what they are. I have to settle for understanding that they are one of lifes mysteries.
So, I left a note saying something about my own dreams. I might have written this before in a diary entry. I have a reoccurring dream, in which I am flying, or gliding. In the beginning it was more of a flying through the air sort of feeling. Recently it has changed somewhat, so that now I tend to glide rather than fly. In any case, it is the most wonderful feeling, and one that I would welcome each and every night. Wednesday night as I was falling asleep, I made a conscious effort to think about those dreams and the feeling they gave me. Im always amazed when this actually works. And it did that night. I dont remember much other than the feeling of gliding, but I do remember that there was an issue of balance. I had to be very aware of my balance, in order to optimize the glide effect. Balance had never come into play before, and now I wonder what sort of message it is that Im missing. I think there are quite a few areas of my life that could use more balance.
I got my taxes prepared today. Im glad its out of the way, and all thats left to do is spend the return. On Cancun perhaps? Since the tickets were free, and so is the condo, I do believe I will be returning with some sweet souvenirs.
I have made a huge decision. Ive started going to a chiropractor to see if she can help me with the bursitis I have in my right hip. I found someone who does not crack and thats all-important to me. Im going to go faithfully for a couple of months and then make up my mind if its helping. This is the first time Ive gone to a chiropractor since my back surgery about 7 years ago. Ive been too afraid to go, but this pain (especially at night) has pushed me to explore new options. Ive also started taking Omega 3 at the chiroladys suggestion.
Were supposed to be getting 7 inches or so of snow tonight. Im glad I have all my errands run, and I do believe that for the weekend, Ill stay hold up here in my house. Im going to make some vegetable/cheese/potato soup and
invite Justin over to take some home. I cant for the life of me figure out how to cook for 1. Besides, I like giving away baked goods, and soups. Theyre always a hit with friends and the kids.
Then tomorrow morning I should be able to try out my new winter boots. Foundem on Home Shopping.
*singing* Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.”
Aloha… Except for the snow… we should have been neighbors… as I love to receive food… prepared by someone other than “moi”… Smiles……………..

That soup sounds really good. I’ll have a bowl of that and a couple of inches of snow, please. Gliding sounds fun. I’m always climbing and then lost and/or scared of falling. Just like my actual life. 🙁 Hope the chiro. helps! Hugs,

I’m like you, B, I cook for an army. The soup sounds delish. I’ve never been very good about interpreting dreams. I’m too pragmatic, I guess, and take things at face value rather than look for hidden meanings. Sad, really, because I’m fascinated by hidden meanings. 😉 Balance is good.

The cheese soup is making my mouth water— and so is the aroma of chicken and dumplings coming from the kitchen. Son Steve learned how to cook well from his mom I had dreams of floating in the air as a boy. Sometimes I knew it was a dream and could control the dream

I think Cancun is the best idea…how about running over to Oregon first? I’ll buy you some sweet souvenirs is you come stay with me! & dreams…sometimes they actually solve my problems. Usually they just show me what I need to think about with my eyes open. & the pain. I am sorry you are experiencing this-have it in my left shoulder & ice is the only thing that helps me. Chiroguy is great for me
