Surgery is set up for Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.  The surgeon is doing me a favor by operating on a clinic day, so it had to be that late in the day.  I read once that you should schedule your surgery for early in the morning so that the surgeon is “fresh.”  Since this is a relatively common and short surgery, I’m not going to worry that he ate something for lunch that he shouldn’t have, or that he’s had too much coffee, or that his wife called to say she’s leaving him, or, or or or.

Im going to concentrate on the fact that I’ll be feeling better soon.

Once you’re past the first couple of days … you’ll be so glad you had this done. Believe me! i’ll be thinking about you. i hope you see your guardian angel as you drift off into the anesthetic (sp) … that’s always a peaceful thing. God’s speed to you my internet angel.

It is a shame to have such a kick in the pants but you get past this and get your life back to normal.

Also, never schedule surgery on a Monday morning or after a holiday (LOL). Good luck and prayers coming your way…..
