Tuesday
It’s 5:30 am, and I’m sitting in the Logan airport, on my way back home.
There’s an empty feeling inside of my chest right now, I think watching him walk away was the hardest thing I’ve had to go through.
The date went well – we had dinner at Chilli’s… it was really crowded though, so we couldn’t do much talking. The people at the table across from us had a little kid, and it was fun watching him eat, it amused me, at the very least. I think the most surreal part of dinner was the guy walking around in the serape and sombrero, making fresh margaritas for people. He was pushing around a little ‘tiki cart’ and yeaaaah.
The weekend was really nice… Saturday we did our running around… I met Momma Leslie and gave her the quilt (which I finished earlier that morning, hehehe, slacker is me!) which she loved, and we talked for a few. I think I can see why Courtenay adores her as much as he does. She’s really likeable, and when we left she told him to bring me back to see her again before I left. We also went to Joann’s Fabrics and Crafts.. Oh god, Court learned not to take me The first time, I noticed that they had 6mm jump rings and I wanted to play with them… they were 30% off, so we picked up a couple packs of the silver plated and the brass ones. We stopped at Newbury (un)comics as well, and picked up a plush penguin… it’s really cute, kind of scary-cute, but cute. After our running around, we went home, and I made a bracelet for Jamisen out of the rings that i bought. After dinner and the like, we curled up and read, watched Volcano High (which is hooooorrible, I don’t care what you say, Courtenay, it was bad) and went to sleep.
Sunday we figured we’d just laze about. I made sure I called Mom and got the latest news from home, as well as to hear her tell me about how my sister’s irked that I’m on a farm and she’s not. She likes animals and when I told her about the cat and the goat both having their babies…. yeaaaah. ::laughs:: She was whining that I should send her pictures of everything. I guess she was driving Mom nuts.
We watched Death Trance and made fun of it, read, went back out to get more chain maile supplies… including a box which Max (Court’s 2 year old Nephew) enjoyed playing with, and just relaxed. I picked up Post Secret’s newest book, as well as Nightlight; a parody of Twilight… and just as bad, if not worse. I read it all that day and cried and groaned about it the whole time. We watched the History Channel and learned all about Snipers. ::chuckles:: Just a lazy day, y’know?
Yesterday was another lazy day. We went out to see Momma Leslie again; and before we left we had our first fight in person. It all boils down to the fact that I did something totally stupid and he got angry at me. As far as fights go… well. His temper burns really hot, but it seems to burn out quickly. I apologized, he fumed for a few, told me that I acted really damned stupid, I agreed. We kind of sat in silence for a little while and then things were okay. By the time we stopped at the Shop and looked for comics for me to pick up, everything was good again. It got me thinking about why I did the stupid thing.
While we were out, we stopped by Gamestop and he bought me a copy of Okami… and we were looking at the games behind the counter and saw a big box; it was the Really Naughty Version of the Record of Agarest War. I had to look at it; Court was the one who pointed out the box, and asked to see what it was and I started "oooh"ing… it’s a tactical RPG and as the Really Naughty Version, you get the soundtrack, as well as a mousepad with boobs, and a sexy pillowcase. I was giggling about the mousepad and pillowcase, and oogling the fact that as part of the game, you seduce and knock up different women and Court went and bought the game. He says it’s for me, because I was having too much fun checking it out, but I know he’s going to play it now that I’m on my way back home. We spent last night curled up in bed, making fun of the game as I played for a few hours. We laughed because it seemed that we just had to b.s. through the games and movies we’ve played / watched together — Death Trance was spent making fun of the dubbing and the plot and whatnot, and Agarest War was spent snickering too.
We packed my bags… or at least packed most of ’em, since I was packing this morning too… I’m taking a lot of stuff back; plushes animals for Maili, Mom, Louise, as well as me, a stuffed dragon, cheese and jellies, comics, figurines, games, guides, books, etc. I could hardly close my bag after I got everything in. ::laughs:: Mom’s going to freak out. We went to bed early, and woke up early this morning to get me here to the airport… I miss him already. Less than an hour since he kissed me goodbye, and I miss him horribly.
Three and a half months until he’ll be moving up to Washington.
Only three and a half months.
I’m glad things went well! 3.5 months will fly by before you know it.
