13.23 and More

 Two nights, two extremely long phone calls.

13.23 hours all together, actually.  Well, along with the few little calls that were made during the day.  The "Good morning, beautiful, was last night a dream?" call yesterday morning, and the call to chatter a little while later.

Courtenay and I are ‘going steady’ now.  Hehe, I love that old fashioned way of putting it.  We’re following the thread where it takes us.  

It came out of left field, completely.  I still don’t know how the hell it went from "We’re friends who read about each other’s lives and note back and forth" to where we are now… it all came together so quickly, and easily.  

I’m going to go out on a "date" today with Podling.  ::grin::  Poor Court, starts dating me and realizes that I’m going out with a younger guy (which is twice as funny when I add in the fact that my sister’s comments when she saw a picture of Court was, "How old is he?" 28, turning 29, "Oh.  He’s pushing 40!  Although, he’s not bad looking for an old guy.")  Podling and I are going to go to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D and go out for lunch / dinner.  I forgot all about the date till he called me yesterday saying that he had gotten his grades up (he had a C in one class) and he wanted to know if we were still going out to see the movie.  I think Court was slightly worried until he realized that Podling’s 14, and is more like the kid brother I wish I had, as opposed to the brother that I have.  ::chuckles::

I should brush my hair and get my new comics ready to take with me to the movies… Podling’s grandfather decided that the Zenescope Comics that Court sent me were too mature for Podling… even though his parents said that they were alright, and I let his dad go through the whole comic before passing them on to him.  ::shakes her head:: so we’re going to get to the movies an hour early and read, and I think we’re going to see about going out to eat and read some more then too.  

He’s going to get his utilikilt.  He’s got himself a B+ / A- average right now… so he’s going to go party with us at PAX.  I’m looking at actually having a decent sized group for the convention, although Court won’t be able to make it up for the week.  We’ll have a week before then.  

My mind’s bouncing around right now.  I have so many little things that’re on my mind and it’s just… I don’t know. ::laughs:: 

I picked up Boondock Saints II last night, I can’t wait to sit and watch it… I was going to yesterday but I got distracted.  Not that I’m complaining. I will have to watch it today though.

I need to remake Podling’s Juicer character and prep for the two games this week… This is Jim’s last week to be able to play with us for a few months, since he’s going to a training academy for his new job as a prison guard.  I’ll miss him, it’d be kind of weird not having him poke at me and chatter about random crap.  

I should go finish getting dressed… I need to put a shirt on. o.o
