Febmusmo #3 – Foreign

 Today’s prompt was fun: "Post a song in a language other than your own."

I can’t remember the original song I was wanting to post… i heard about it years and years and years ago, it was in Swedish and when I had my friend Borje translate it, it was about how we all wanted to go to Heaven to ride in white limos.  Very strange, very fun though.  The only English in the whole song was when it mentioned John Wayne.  I miss that song.

So today, I have two songs by the same artist, I could have posted songs all day for this prompt, but these two make me giggle because they’re so damned geeky.

So yeah, there’s no real story with these… I just like ’em cuz they’re geeky.  

When I was younger, about 13 or so, my parents played Dominion and Utopia, which were (are?) strategy games where you build armies and battle and whatnot… it was a number cruncher game, which is somethin my parents were good at.  In one of the rounds of Utopia, I started talking with one of my dad’s realm/kingdom mates, who was a Swede named Borje.  We chatted back and forth for a long time, helping each other with homework (he helped me with math, I helped him with English) and he got me started on Swedish musics.  The Swedes have epic musics.
