DePhoMo# 6 (Beauty)

I thought long and hard for this picture… But here it is, my definition of beauty: 

I took this picture back in March.  We were visiting my aunt and she mentioned that Trinity Church, which is near where she lives in Virgina has some original Tiffany stained glass, and that they give tours sometimes.  The day we went, it was wet and rainy, kinda icky outside and we were the only people there for the tours, in fact, we asked the people who let us roam around in the church proper, not to turn the lights on.

So we were able to look at all these beautiful stained glass pieces without there being any sort of lumination aside from the little bit of light outside.  And it was breathtaking.  The colors, especially on this window, were so vivid, so rich that I could almost taste them, and it also put me in awe of not only the divine, but of the people who put their time and their heart into coloring and piecing every little bit of glass until it comes out like this.

I just wish more of my pictures came out… My hands were shaking while trying to take some.
