Politcally Articulate.

I’d love to be able to sit down and hammer on the keys for a half hour and end up with a well thought out and articulate entry on my thoughts about the current political and economic situations in my country. The truth of the matter is that it holds nothing but anger for me …I do not blame the current leaders or even the leaders of the last few governments i blame it on the governments of the past and their lack of vision. If you look in your cupboard and see that your running low on coffee. You buy more. it’s that simple. you don’t think about the kid at the store that stocks the shelves, the truck driver that delivered the coffee, the processor that packaged it, the farmer that grew… you just buy coffee. We don’t need to think of those sort of things , but our elected officials should. Our former leaders never once thought that maybe spewing all that crap into the atmoshpere might change it. Filling our schools with out dated text books and teachers who are only there for a pay cheque has worked like a charm. Our education system is turning into a holding tank for morons, just ask the recently fired 1st year apprentice from my shop about the 10 countries of the world. It comes as no surprise to yours truely that the North American Giants of industry ( the big 3 ) look like a bunch of fumbling idiots trying to catch up to a global market thats leaving us in the dust. Is this a relativly new thing? Nope. It’s been happening since the first Asian car rolled off the line. The only thing "The Big 3" have done to secure thier positions at the top of the automotive ladder is walk around calling themselves " the Big 3 ". The Big 3 complex is even transfered down the line to the people that work for the poor bastards. Talk to a line worker and sure you get the idea that they are more than a little nervous about Toyota taking over the top spot making one of the " Big 3" into a 4. But they don’t seem to clue in that the north american auto industry isn’t even holding steady at 2nd 3rd or 4th position. So where does that leave my Country…Well it leaves my Counrty with a government that is never going to be able to fix the problems that it faces because they are spending the majority of thier time fixing the problems of our past. It leaves us with an education system that is spewing out people trained for a job in an out dated and dying economy. It leaves me with a bitter fucking taste in my mouth. When I look in my hand and see the faces of my Countries past leaders printed on the money I’m not sure if I should spend it or wipe my ass with it.
