OK, World, Enough.

I don’t want to go into a ton of it. But here is my week so far.

  • Monday: According to K, my second drug test came back diluted as well. For them, this constitutes a fail. Yeah. The first time I failed a drug test in my LIFE. You could have knocked me over with a feather.
  • Thanks to this, I now have to pay for a hair drug screening as well as perform another urine screening. It took them two days to schedule the test, so I am taking it tomorrow. After paying $65.00. Which they had damn well better reimburse me after I pass. My dad also made the point that I’d better ask them to remove the "failed" drug test from my record.
  • Also thanks to this, employment has been pushed back. YET AGAIN. Have I mentioned that Friday is my last day at SH?
  • I was pissed. I was contemplating all manner of alternative employment. This has solidified into an idea – I am intending to start my own consulting business within the next five years. I’ve had enough of working for other people.
  • Tuesday: Not terrible, just busy as all Hell. Just one thing after another after another, and I was exhausted.
  • Today: Went to see an apartment that we ended up loving. Tenant was sub-leasing. Went into the office to check on cat policy – office gave us completely horrible treatment. They supposedly weren’t aware of tenant sub-leasing. Horrifyingly embarrassed.
  • Left place. Sean called both office and tenant. Office sets up appointment for us to see other units. Tenant swears up and down that office was aware of her sub-leasing.
  • After discussion, bite the bullet and let tenant know we’re taking her apartment. Lots of back and forth and hoorah-da-doorah, but we’re set to go and get the process started next Tuesday. Office sends apologies through tenant, which is flaky but better than no apology at all.
  • Sean’s dad calls him after a month of no contact, ignoring his phone calls, and us finding out about his divorcing his third wife over Facebook. Texts him asking for $1500. Because he’s SUCH a GOOD DAD and all. I blew my lid, then felt terrible because it’s Sean’s place to handle this and not mine.

I scrubbed the hell out of our bathroom. Then I took a nice long nap. Now I’m blasting the TV to get back at the stompers who woke me up with more random piano playing. February 1st, we’re outta here. Gotta breathe.

This week can end anytime now.
