And…crash.
SO yesterday, I was having a perfect day…slept in till 8am, stayed in bed and read for a long time reading, then took a long nap, got up and decided to go to the bookstore, and then rollerblading. Perfect day right?
So Everything is going wonderfully…then I get to the bike trail to rollerblade. I keep thinking to myself that there are a lot of hills on this trail. I’m hardly making it, thought about turning around at one point because a hill was so steep. I decide I can handle it…I go down one hill and then right as I got to the top of one…There was another one. This one was RIDICULOUS, I couldnt stop myself, all the sudden I was going about 50 miles an hour and I’m seeing tree’s…I’m freaking out. I’m squating as I go down so that I can keep balance but unfortunatly its making me go faster, obviously. So I’m again going about 50 miles an hour and all the sudden the trail turns…TURNS! After a big hill?! Really?! I’m a decent rollerblader but I couldnt keep up. I went flying into the grass…LUCKILY it had just rained…so the grass was wet and muddy…I went face first into the grass….
I was covered head to toe in MUDD…not only that but my back and neck hurt TERRIBLY….and I was about 45 minutes away from my car BLADING. So I sat there and cried for a while…then tried to stand up….then decided not to…sat there for a while. Then I finally got up and walked back to my car. An hour…today I am so SORE…iced my back all day yesterday. Today my neck is sore. I’m a little nervous I may have to call out of work….I already have enough back pain flying. Anyways…so laying in bed all day…doing nothing…drinking wine.
Pray my muscles feel better.
