doesnt mean i love you
and saying i love you
doesnt mean i care…

there are just some things that dont make sense to me
and even more things i know will never be
but the thoughts keep coming
and i keep strumming
just hoping what i need to say
will come out

but thoughts that leak from an empty heart
are so much more unkind
and if you can see past that
then i think we’ll be just fine…
