Update on us

Wow! It’s been awhile since I’ve written. So much has happened. Aiden turned 1 on the 12th. It’s crazy how fast time has flown! He’s doing great and growing and changing so much. He’s truly an awesome little kid.

I started my job in Lafayette. It’s a 10 week job (11 weeks if you include the week for spring break). 5am is really early (I have to leave by 6 to get there at 8), and I don’t get home until 5:30 in the evening. It is making for some long days, but for now, it will pay the bills and pad our savings account. 6th graders are also really trying my patients, but at least it is a job.

Chris is doing great with Aiden at home all day. Aiden adjusted well and has given up nursing during the day without much problem. He’s still all about nursing once I walk in the door, but he’s doing great with water, juice, and milk in his sippy cups during the day when I’m not home.

I’ve been unoffically told that I will get a job offer for the job at BehaviorCorp I interviewed for a few weeks ago. I was actually told that the week after my interview, but I have yet to receive an offer letter, so I’m not sure what’s going on with that. I’m gonna have to email them soon and see if something came up.

One of my cousins is having some serious health problems. They have found a large mass behind her stomach between her kidneys wrapped around her pancreas. They are doing a biopsy tomorrow to see what it is. They are going to have to do surgery and take it out regardless of what it is, but we are hopeful it isn’t malignant.

On a happier note, Bonnie just found out she’s having a little boy. She’s due the first part of August. I think she’s rather excited about everything.

That’s about all I can think of. I hope everyone is doing well.

Happy birthday to Aiden! 6th graders can be pretty annoying! I think they believe it’s their job to see how far they can push new people. I’ve worked in a couple 6th grade classrooms and student taught in 5th. I’m glad Aiden is adjusting so well to Chris being home instead of you. I’m sorry to hear about your cousin. I hope its benign. Congratulations to Bonnie!

You need to bring Aiden over soon and have a playdate with us! If you are ever plan on making a trip this way. Hopefully, within 6 months, we’ll be living on the other side of Noblesville, a bit closer!
