Tequila Makes her Clothes Fall Off

I stayed home half a day yesterday because I felt like death.  Allergies I think.  They’re ridiculous this year.  Apparently it typically hits Austinites about 5 years into living here.  I’m at my 5 year mark.  Kill me please.

Anyway, I slept and took some Zyrtec – went into work around 1:30.  After work we went to Zio’s, this great Italian restaurant near where Travis lives.  We went with Travis’ parents and his Granny (on his Dad’s side).  She was such a cute little old woman.  She’s 95 – will be 96 in August – and is one of the most spry almost 100 year olds I’ve ever seen.  She was awesome.

After that we decided to go to Fast Eddie’s and play pool.  Against my better judgment at the time, but I didn’t want to sit at the house.  So we went and proceeded to play pool, split a bucket of beer (3 apiece), had a few Kamikazes and then they announced the 15 minute cinco de mayo special – Cuervo shots for 3 bucks.  I haven’t shot tequila in a long time… and it’s just as horrible as I remember lol.  But of course, we did two of those.  Can’t pass up a $3 shot.

We got back to his house, did the do (amazing as usual), cuddled, talked a bit, and went to bed.

Apparently that’s what I needed to get to feeling better.  Because today I feel a thousand times better than yesterday.

Drinking always does the trick. 😉

Back to work!
