 I feel sad that my standards have sunk so much lower than they were when I was first figuring out what being an adult meant. Apparently something I consider to be a deal-breaker can eventually downgrade to something I will live with, no matter if its incredibly painful to put up with.

How sad for my little heart. I’m sorry to the 18 year old me who had big dreams and high expectations. I’ve let you down.
