Full tummy, full heart
We just returned from Mike & Jeri’s where we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon full of food and family. The boys were home and Ben brought his girlfriend, Annie. We all met at the church…most of us for breakfast. Ben and Annie got there just in time for us all to find seats together for worship. The place wasn’t totally packed but there weren’t many empty places. (We have 4 services on Easter.)
Dinner was our favorite Easter fare: ham, cheesy potatoes, fresh spinach salad, green beans, veggie tray, hot rolls and pie. Oh, yeah, and my deviled eggs. Ben and Annie left first, since she has to get back up to Greely where she is a student at Northern Colorado. Dave was still there when we came home, but still has to drive back to Ft. Collins where he goes to Colorado State. Ben has his own place south and east of here. Was good to see the “kids” and to meet Annie. Also good to spend time with Mike and Jeri.
We’ll probably skip supper…and after our naps, see what we can find on Netflix.
Such a lovely day.
Glad you had such a good day with family!
