So… okay

I made it through the night, closing and all… It wasn’t too bad, really.  I worked with this really great guy.  He is a little older than me.  I suppose he must be in his sixties because he mentioned that his wife is sixty-two.  She’s got Alzheimer’s Disease, which is really sad.  I had heard through the store grapevine that his wife was ill, just didn’t know with what.  I saw what my mom went through with my dad that way, so I really feel sorry for this nice guy.  All in all it was a pleasant evening so I’m not sorry that I told them I’d do it.  I also learned some things I didn’t know before because I’ve only closed a few times.

Afterwards, I came home to an empty house because everybody was still gone.  But that was okay too because it gave me a chance to read those whom I had tagged LOL.  That was really fun!

Well, I’m tired as all get out… church in the morning and an extremely busy day planned tomorrow.  My granddaughter is in a gymnastics show.  It ought to be really cute.

Glad things went well at work. RYN: I guess with all the disappointments I’ve had in Sarah, I’m not sure if the apology was a big event or not. Somehow it left me with only a sad feeling. She teared up though, so maybe it did mean something to her.

Hey Hope you’re alright. Thanks for the motherly hug! I really needed it considering my own mum didn’t feel like giving me one. Thank you so much. I really do appreciate it. x
