What I Love About My Husband!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I Love About My Husband!!

Things I love about my husband:

He makes me laugh

He always leaves the toilet seat down

He actually makes the bed every day!

He prays before meals no matter where we are

He reads the Bible

He truly tries to live as a good person

He’s smart

He can fix our computer

He supports us

He gets more handsome with age (which I also sort of hate because I don’t)

He doesn’t worry about stupid things (like I do)

He is a realistic optimist

He loves my kids and raised them with me

He is a great father to our child as well

He cooks dinner sometimes

He does laundry often

When we have guests over, he is a great host

He takes out the garbage

He carries up the groceries and heavy stuff

He doesn’t seem to be into looks in his mate (or at least he seems to like mine)

He doesn’t give me too much hassle if he wants sex and I don’t

He always wants sex so I never have to hold back if I do

He is adventurous and willing to try new things in sex

He is also happy to do the same old stuff if I’d prefer that

He brings me flowers and presents sometimes (especially after we fight)

He’s a great friend to his friends

He’s loyal

He loves music

He’s tolerant

He’s non-judgemental

He doesn’t get all bent out of shape when he does something stupid and I laugh about it

He’s warm in the winter

He’s the perfect height and size for me

He’s got gorgeous hair

He grew a beard for me twenty years ago and kept it

He’s uninhibited

He’s romantic

He lets me go visit family without him

He lets me go out with “the girls” the few times I want to

He is always willing to apologize when it’s his fault (and probably sometimes when it isn’t)

He has an open mind

He loves to go to bookstores

He helps me keep track of the groceries we have to buy

He doesn’t mind grocery shopping if we must

He’s considerate

He’s good in bed

He lets me be crazy

He likes to go out to eat almost as much as I do

His driving has improved vastly over the years and doesn’t scare me anymore

He really seems to care about what I think and feel!

I wish he would:

hang up the stuff in our house that has been waiting to be put up

find a better place for his cds and radio than the top of the open up freezer

not keep so many magazines (but he keeps them neatly packed away now so I really don’t mind that much)

be careful not to wound with his words when he’s mad

get home earlier from work (but since he drives our little boy to school in the morning, I guess that’s impossible)

be a little more jealous sometimes (just a little)

go to church with me (at least sometimes)

There must be something else…. let me think. He really isn’t perfect. Oh yeah, dry off IN the shower instead of out of it.

I bet he wishes I would:

make his lunch every day

have dinner ready every night

never leave my clothes on stuff in the bedroom

clean the house every day

get rid of the pets (I won’t :-))

buy clothes for him instead of making him go too

have sex more often

bake more often

keep the desk neater for him

file his cds in alphabetical order when he leaves them out (fat chance ;-))

There would be more for both “wish lists” in a perfect world. But I really like him as he is. I know like is a weird word to use, but sometimes it’s more important that you like your mate than love him. Love is the thing that brings you together and pushes your passion I think. But “like” is the thing that keeps you happy. I’ve seen so many marriages now where people seem to love their spouses but they’re unhappy in their marriage and that seems to be because they don’t like their spouse. Liking your spouse makes it so that you feel like you’re getting together with a good friend every day. Each good day is sort of like a slumber party with a buddy (one that can have sex if you want it!)

Two things amaze me about this entry. One is that you could come up with so many seperate items that you liked about your husband. The second is that you took the time to put your list to paper. Way Cool 19er

You are a very nice person…and your husband is as lucky to have you as you are to have him… Minus a few items your list would fit my husband very well.

Wow, lucky lady. :-))

Great entry! Sounds like you really found a good one!!

Wow, so many wonderful qualities! One thing I love about my bf is that he often makes dinner for me. Then again, I work more hours than he does.
