Crack-cocaine and Bibles

I started the affidavit last night. I promised my ex-sister-in-law that I would put together an affidavit on her behalf in her legal battles with my brother. I never thought this day would ever come. I feel almost sick to be related to him with all the things he’s done to his family. And he completely refuses to accept any responsibility for anything. He used to be such a great guy and now he’s just a bad person. That’s odd language to use, I know… “just a bad person.” I don’t know any better way to put it though. He insists he’s clean now but I think he’s still using. I almost hope he’s using because then there’s an excuse for his acting so horribly.

Once I get my web diary about my brother loaded up, I’ll put a link to it. In the mean time, let me just reiterate that crack cocaine is a killer. It’s a killer of lives, people, families, and minds. He is so corrupt and dishonest now and it looks like he has even taken out more fraudulent loans than before.

And, on the complete other side of the coin, the newlyweds are home today. I had to pick them up at the airport. There was a brief scare at their house when neither could find the keys to the house. They started digging through their luggage and I noticed they had brought their Bibles on their honeymoon. It’s quite possible they didn’t use them at all, but I was still impressed. How many couples have that sincere a wish to know God.

I heard the tales of their honeymoon and it sounded as if it was every bit as wonderful as their wedding. They really lighten my heart.

I’m happy for the newlyweds. I’ll be praying for that guy. Love ya

My sister is in the same boat as your brother. She has been on crack for years. Sometimes I can’t belive that she is still alive. It is heartbreaking, I know. ((hugs))
