Crazy Daisy Not-So-Lazy Month!

Wow, this month is not even half over and it’s been all over the place. Let’s just do this in bullet form:

The university I was trying to get into screwed up my application so close to the deadline date that I couldn’t get in on time and I’ve been running around trying to figure out what to do instead. BUT today they emailed me and told me that they extended the deadline date by 2 weeks and I might get in. YAY!
The boyfriend still hasn’t received any word yet about job offers and his apartment lease is up in early August. We’re officially on a time crunch to figure out what the hell to do….go ahead and sign a lease (for him) here in Austin with another apartment or wait? I don’t know…
I’ve desperately been trying to find new roommates for August because the one’s I "live" with now are absolutely horrible. There’s a lot of past drama there and too much to write at the moment…but the front office of the complex I live at just informed me that there’s 3 girls they matched me up with so I facebooked them and they look pretty decent. They all 3 attend a Lutheran college here and they look a little uptight, but that’s a lot better than what I’ve had to put up with lately
My best friend’s turning 21 next weekend and we’re driving up to celebrate but I’m ridiculously broke (Thank you American Express) and so I’m just stressing on paying for gas, bday present, shots, all that good stuff. blaaah….rent may have to be late…again!
I’ve taken on 2 jobs to help pay for…well everything. They’re both online and run by different family members. *Side note: if you ever get a chance to work with your family full time….RUN!!!!!* Plus I’m still trying to make my online boutique successful but the web design is totally kicking my butt, hence the reason for my major change to graphic web design. So…technically I have 3 jobs, all online, and all equally sucking up my social life.

This summer has really sucked so far compared to last year when all I did was lay by the pool getting tipsy. Now, thanks to flooding waters and 40 consistent days of rain here in TX, I’ve been confined indoors with pasty white skin, sober, and desperately needing a vacation. Too bad summer’s just about over. 2007 I hate you, you stupid stupid year!
