Priceless

I wasn’t really feeling like writing an entry today, but Tots is so cute.

He woke up a little while ago, and said that he wanted to sleep in our bed.  We let him sleep there last night after he woke up, but I don’t want it to become a thing.  I laid him back down, but he kicked his blanket off.

Tots:  Bed.  Bed?  Big bed?

Mommy Ducky:  No, you’re going to sleep here, in your bed.

Tots:  Why?

Mommy Ducky:  Because it’s your bed.

Tots:  Why?

Mommy Ducky:  Because it’s your bed, all for you, and you’re a big boy.

Tots:  Why?

Mommy Ducky:  I’ll stay here until you fall asleep.

Tots:  Why?

Mommy Ducky:  Because I love you.

He then closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Who knows how the rest of the night is going to play out, but my heart melted when "I love you" was enough.
