I’m feeling a little proud of myself.  I managed to fill out and send out the paperwork for insurance.  I called the electric company and made a much overdue payment.  I rescheduled the WIC appointment that got canceled yesterday because of the weather.  Tots has his first dentist visit coming up soon.  (I found out that babies are supposed to see a dentist around one year, but nobody told me that, not even his doctor.  Of course, it’s not a big deal because his teeth are fine.)  Finally, I did some research on eye doctors and have one picked out.

Generally, I am quite awkward on the phone when it’s not family or friends.  The electric company sucks.  Insurance just baffles me, as does most paperwork.  I’m proud that I got a big chunk of all that necessary stuff out of the way.  There are always more forms to fill out, more appointments to make and things to do.

It’s Pi’s day off tomorrow which means we get to have a family day.  He had Monday off this week, so we get two family days in one week.  Hooray!

Tots has been getting better about counting.  It sounds like this: "on, two, bee, bo, (sometimes, but rarely he says fie) sick".  It’s pretty cute.

When he falls down or bumps himself, he asks us if he’s okay.  When we say, "Yeah, you’re okay," he says "okay," and goes back to whatever he was doing.  Sometimes when he hurts himself, he’ll say "I sorry" afterward.

I thought I had a couple more things to tell you guys about what he’s doing, but I can’t think of them at the moment.  Another entry, I suppose.

Insurance paperwork still baffles me and I’ve been dealing with that stuff for over seven years now so don’t feel so bad. Good for you for vetting stuff done. It’s always a nice feeling. I love how Tots asks you guys if HE is okay. Too cute. Have fun with you family day!

I love baby talk. And Sweetie, dealing with the insurance people baffles ALL of us, sometimes the insurance people themselves, too! It all gets easier the more you do it. It’s one of those “life skills”, like when your mom first made you order your own food at MacDonalds and you didn’t want to to do it. Enjoy your day off. Glad you’ll be able to get your boy his dental. I think I waited until theboys were about three to take them, and it was a five minute appointment; count the teeth, create his ‘ dental record’, give him a prize.

OMG, paperwork sucks. You saw how much effort it was for me to get some paperwork sent from one doctor to another, and that’s just ASKING FOR A COPY. Things are so complicated these days….
