‘Sno Problems

So, work was pretty good today.  It went by really fast, and I haven’t closed with Dancey since the summer, maybe even earlier.  She’s a very good, reliable worker and she’s fun to talk to.  I’m glad that we worked together.

The snow started to come down around 10:30 or so, and it came down fast.  Pi’s car isn’t so good in the snow, so he had to get Tots home before it got bad.  I guess Mom was asleep when Pi got home, so we couldn’t ask her to stay with Tots while Pi picked me up nor could we ask her to pick me up.  By that point, I was getting a little nervous about how I was going to get him.  I had figured that I would just walk, even though it would suck.  It’s only a half of a mile.  Luckily though, around 11:30, a coworker of mine came to pick up his tips.  I mentioned offhandedly that I wasn’t sure how I was going to get home.  He told me that he would give me a ride, if I needed it.  I am so thankful that he came.  Before he arrived, I wrote his name really in the snow in the parking lot with my footprints.

I am also thankful for all the business from all the plow guys on the way out.  People tip very well to those who will give them good hot coffee when they are about to spend several hours in the snow.

I’m glad you got home safely. We only have a bit of ice, maybe less than an inch of snow and two hour delay for school. I’m miserable with the ice.

I’m also glad you got home safely! And just wondering, does Tots enjoy playing in the snow at all?
