Whoopie is a word, Mr. Spellcheck.

I forgot to mention yesterday one of the things that really made the day great for me.

Pi and I were about to leave to get dinner from the grocery store.  I told Tots that we would be right back.  I said goodbye and he said bye back to me.  Then I told him that I love him and I SWEAR he said "I love you too."  It was so cute!  I mean, it wasn’t exactly "I love you too," but it was pretty close.  Pi heard it, too, so it’s not like I just wanted to hear it.

I have been trying so hard to finish up on all the little things I have to do to get the house ready for his birthday party.  I went to the dump and got rid of a big and small bag of recycling, a box of cardboard, and a huge bag of garbage.  I washed the rest of the dishes, which was a lot of little things, so it took forever but didn’t really look like much in the end.  I  cleaned the counters, even underneath where the microwave goes.  I cleaned the stove top, which had a lot of little bits of slime here and there.  Finally, I swept and mopped the hallway.  It’s a pretty good feeling getting all that done, but there is still a lot more to do.  It’s all little things, but it wasn’t until today that I realized how many little things there are.  I’m not worried, though.

Also, I cut Tots’s hair for the first time ever.  I’m not sure how it’s going to come out, though, because he went to bed with it wet.  Pi says that it’s going to be okay, but I don’t know.  I’m thinking good thoughts.

Now, Pi is working on the computer room, and I’m off to clean the bathroom.

Whoopie!

Aw, I’m sure his hair will be fine. Also, I am SO PROUD of you for all that hard work you’ve been doing. This will really pay off in the end!
