Chelsey’s Necklace and More

I really can’t believe that I made it to the 23rd.  I’m a little impressed with myself.

Today, I cleaned in the computer room a little more.  If I were to post a picture of this room, you would totally understand why I work on it a little everyday and it’s still not clean.  I don’t think it can be cleaned completely.  I’m fine with that.  Anyway, I swept underneath our desks and got rid of a little garbage and recycling.  It feels good to get even a little done.

Since it was Chelsey’s birthday, I wanted to give her some Granny Smith apples.  Unfortunately, stepfather had Mom’s car, so I couldn’t go anywhere.  Instead, I decided to make a necklace for her.  I haven’t really been doing as much art and jewelry making, because Tots is notorious for messing with whatever I’m doing.  I think it came out pretty nice, and he played with the beads next to me and didn’t pull on any of my strings.  Since I’m kind of out of practice, there are a couple of mistakes, but you would have to look for them to find them.  Anyway, she likes it, and that is all that matters.

Also, it was really nice that she got to come to see Tots for a few minutes.  He likes her, but of course he does, he’s got good taste.

I went to the grocery store today, and only got the stuff on the WIC check.  Normally, being the silly person that I am, I end up at the grocery store hungry and want to buy one of everything.  I ate before I went and was able to keep to my goal of only WIC stuff.  After Pi got home, we went to a different store to get the rest of Tots’s Pediasure, and I didn’t buy anything there either.  Pi did, though, but he’s got ideas for something, possibly some kind of casserole.  He won’t tell me what it is, but I know it’s got a bunch of Mexican food type items in it.  I’ll keep you posted.

Tomorrow, like I mentioned, is going to be really fun at work.  We’re all going to bring in some kind of random/weird food.  I’m bringing sardines.  I bought them on a whim at some point, but haven’t tried them yet.  I didn’t know that they still have all the bones in them.  Sparkley said that she likes them, so I will try it with her.  I don’t know what everyone else is going to bring, so this should be interesting.

So, that’s about all that’s going on for now.

Sardines are supposed to be good for you, bones and all. That doesn’t mean I’ve eaten one, mind you. Just that I read that once.
