Sunday…*edit

Nothing new here.  I did an 8 page paper last night for one of my classes.

Tonight we drove around and looked at Christmas lights.

So…Aaden is 18 months.  We still give him a bottle before nap and bedtime.  Somedays, when he is pissed off and he asks for one…I admit that I cave in and make him one.

we ended that today.  He has asked for one several times but we have not given him one.  Bad thing is that he has not eaten CRAP today.  He doesnt eat as it is..but no spaghetti and no fries either.  a few bites of cereal.

Please dont give me shit for still giving him the bottle.

I told everyone here that he should be off the bottle on his 1st bday but noone cared.  Then, he wont eat…so

thats it..

Actually, there is one other thing.  Its funny because all these people are writing me saying that they agree with me on the dephomo thing.  That they stopped it because it was crap.

Here is one note I got today…

The reason why the "owner" of dephomo is picking those pictures is because she’s biased. Have you ever had any issues with ——–  [p]

I took the name of the dephomo owner because I dont really care!

My kids were both easy to take the bottle from, but Sophia still won’t eat regularly. Her pedi said that as long as food is given to them, they won’t starve. Eventually they’ll give in and eat when they’re hungry. Trust me, it’s hard, but you can do it.

he will eat when he is hungry. you have to be firm. it takes 3 days to break him of wanting that bottle, or so super nanny says!

you can do it.. no **** from me. my 3 yr old still has a binky. he was off the bottle at 9 months. their stomach is so small so just wait until he is hungry he will eat. and if he doesnt after that then you should maybe take him to the pedi

He will eat when he gets hungry. Be firm or else he’ll NEVER get off the bottle and it will ruin his teeth. Elijah was hard to wean too. Believe me, Aaden won’t starve.

Every kid is different. My son gave up the bottle no problem at a year, but the binky has been difficult for us. He is now 2 and has it only at nap/bedtime.. but my thought is who am I to take away something that gives him comfort? I wouldn’t worry about it!

i agree that if you stay firm it will be over soon 🙂 but im sure you know that lol and if you want to cave in as long as its just water in the bottle it wont ruin his teeth lol im a sucker tho. my oldest is the only one that had a bottle and he STARTED on it at close to a year cuz i had to quit nursing. so yea…i dont remember how old he was when we took it away..maybe 18 months?
