DePhoMo=Disappointed
This si the first year i am doing DephoMo. I am disappointed because the pictures that are choosen for pic of the day are no worthy of that title. I am not saying that mine are…I could care less BUT I have randomly visited many pages and I have seen cell phones pics better than the ones that are picked for the pics of the day.
so, anyway..I will continue with my project365 and prob not do DePhoMo. I guess I have my expectations too high.
Wow…are you being serious? I’m hoping this is a joke complaint. You’re 33 years old. Who gives a crap about the pictures chosen on some website as being the best and whether or not they are yours??? Take care

Wow to Jennifer Nicole- grow up… If you have an opinion about the photos that are being chosen then so be it- I personally agree- the photo prompts suck and the photos being chosen aren’t the greatest either- but it’s hard to pick a good photo when they are all rather mediocre due to crappy prompts.

The point of my note was that you are 33 years old, living in a very safe country (there’s no tanks on your front yard or bombs going off at night), you have food to eat, shelter to live in, a wonderful family… …to get disappointed over some silly pictures seems petty and very insignificant. i am random and i agree with your point. it is your opinion. i also do dephomo and although we are not the decision makers it is challenging for all of us to participate and then to get our photos critiqued. i love art so i take it seriously but art is perceived by some in different ways. comments can be made about who was picked or why. WHY NOT i purposely came to your page to concur with your comment because you are allowed to make it and i see several other people attacking you for your comment. i would love to actually answer them but i am not going to route as they will probably use their first amendment rights in saying free speech when idioticly they forgot to realize that you also used your first amendment righs by making your comments about the DPM choices. xxx

your photos were pretty awesome, but I think you’re getting a wee bit upset over the DePhoMo thing. Sure, I think there were better choices… but when it comes down to it, one person started that blog and picks them… if people voted it would be different. I had lots last year I thought should have been picked… ironically, one I thought didn’t fit was picked. -shrugs- C’est la vie.

I am disappointed also. I really enjoyed NoJoMo and was hoping for DePhoMo to be great! I hope things pick up!
