Mystery Of Life Part 2

Hi, if you have not read part 1, read it first or read it again to refresh. A few days back, I thought again. I really desire to know what is my destiny. Some say you create it yourself, others say that it is predetermined. Why does life seems so familiar yet unpredictable?

What I mean is that you know something will happen after something is done, "cause and effect". However, it may sometimes have an unpredictable twist. For instance, on the road, at a corner, a car is turning into that corner. That’s the incident, of course it will just turn and carry on, but the unpredictability is there, although familiar, a boy, an old lady, anyone, could be crossing the street while the car is turning, you’ll never know. Then tragedy will strike – "cause and effect".

Because of this unpredictability, people fear. An emotion – I realised too that an emotion not only makes you forget but it also makes you more cautious or it can do both. For instance – cooking. The unpredictability could be getting yourself injured, or not cooking a "good enough" dish. So it triggers fear. Fear here makes you forget about the surroundings and makes you more cautious, more aware in the dish you are cooking, cautious to put the right ingredients, the right heat, right amount of everything; cautious of not getting scalded or burnt too.

Life too is very fragile. Life is a thin line which separates you from death. It is like a lightbulb, you’ll never know when it is going to blow. Here again, unpredictability. If you imagine, if a car hits you, you would be dead. If you catch a virus, you’ll die. If you get bitten by a snake or spider, you might die too. You won’t even know what will happen tomorrow, you might die. So don’t take anything for granted. Take everyday with meaning and tell the ones you love that you love them. Cherish the things and people you have now.
