Time, time, time, …

… to see what’s become of me …

Ah, Time.

Time to sleep in (though my internal clock now won’t let me).  Time to watch the many things I’ve discovered (or re-discovered) in the library DVD collection.  Time to sort out my schedule for next year.  Time for having the twins overnight at my place (I think this may have been their first sleepover … ), to play and giggle and learn (why does counting aloud make them clap for delight?!).  Time for leisurely breakfasts.  Time to cross-stitch (my nephew’s stocking still … I finished my neice’s a while ago).  To read.  To finish up the last of the make-up lessons due to my students.  To wander through a mall on the way to somewhere else, and think as I look at all sorts of Stuff, "I’m okay, I don’t need any of this."

In short, I have reached a state of continual contentment.  (Check with me next week, though, and I’ll probably have some new instalment of the Music Shivers saga ready for you all.)

But don’t be deceived by these calm words.  There are plenty of plans and schemes hovering over my head.  It may be Canada Day but I’m catching up on my organization of life in general, in between moments of red and white thinking.

Open Diary feels like an old home that I’m visiting for the first time in years … but now that I have Time, hopefully I will reconnect.

(Connect.  If only.)

I was just thinking that it had been a little while since you wrote…and, voila! here you are. I’m glad you’re content but with things in the works. I’m greatly enjoying TIME this summer, as well!

Welcome back! Hope you can keep your sense of contentment and still carry out all your plans. 🙂 S

I’m glad you’re having some time and peace lately. I love summer for that, everyone seems to relax a bit. Not that it has to be seasonal!

Are you still out there somewhere? anywhere?
