[ten days]

In ten days, this semester will be OVER. Finally. It has been long and difficult (well, mostly the schedule juggling was difficult… I’m doing well in my classes). I’m looking forward to my summer off. After summer, there will be fall semester (two nights per week) and winter semester (four nights per week), and then graduation! One year from now I will graduate from this program, and be eligible to take the exams (state and national) to become an LVT. That is my light at the end of the tunnel. I’m halfway done already 🙂

Things are going well, as usual, besides that. Life is busy. We will finally be building our new front porch very soon. We are waiting on one more document for the permit, and then construction can begin. It is going to be great!

Greg is back building decks this summer, which he is excited about. His old boss called him recently and told him that they had been thinking of hiring another crew member, and every time they talked about it the conversation just came back to Greg. There was no one else they wanted. So he cut back his hours at the bowling alley (he would have been taking a 7-week layoff starting in May anyway), and started. This will be good financially, as there won’t be any loss of income.

The boat is clean and waiting for warmer weather, and cabin fever has set in big time. I’m eagerly awaiting camping trips this summer – it can’t come fast enough!

Ok, break time is over. Back to studying for finals!
