Just Some Thoughts…

So…. We paid off Paul’s car I don’t know if I mentioned that before or not but probably… Now we have a CRAP TON of stuff due this month and that really SUCKS!!! Starting with a big cell phone bill that was not expected ($250.50) and I was able to get it down to $202.50 so that was nice but still expensive as heck! We have Paul’s tux due for the wedding March 5th, my daughter’s flower girl dress  alteration, tabs for both cars and We owed on taxes this year and that sucks… STUPID STATE!!! We got minimun back on federal but I shouldn’t complain because at least we got something back but when your trying to buy a house it’s not enough… I guess nothing ever is…

I just photographed a wedding on Valentines day, a VERY casual wedding I’m talking jeans and winter jackets. I sent the girl a few of the photos and she likes them. I was happy about that beacuse I was not impressed with my own work. I have a wedding on the 27th and then another one 6 days later then off to Texas!!!
 

I ran into Colleen (Paul’s best-friend’s wife) and they’re going out of the country this September and I am TOTALLY jealous. She REALLY knows how to save money and I wish I was like that. I used to be great at it and now I don’t know if it’s cause we don’t have as much as we used to (because back when my hubby was in the army I had a good job) but I like to spend on stuff and lately I have been thinking about what I would like when we buy a house someday. Paul thinks we won’t be able to afford a house uptown but I think we could if we save some more. Wish we could afford a nice new one for 230,000 but I know that won’t happen. Houses in this town are OVER PRICED!!! So anyways running into Colleen made me realize what we should be working for, it was an eye opener that we need to get our heads out of our asses or we will be renting FOREVER!!! So I put a note on my closet door as a reminder (like I did when I was planning that trip to Hawaii) and it seems to at least help me a little, don’t know about my hubby though. We’re moving our computer so I can get more work done because I am going to need it… It’s been almost a week and I still have some editing to do on the Valentines Day wedding pictures I took… I need to clean my house cause it’s a MESS and I just feel overwhelmed!!! Least I’m getting rid of my baby stuff by sending it to my little sister =)
