Can’t Sleep

Today was a wild day out and about in the snow.

Made my way from the cross roads to the inter-state and headed South.  The snow was light and there was very little snow on the road.

Most folks were still driving like there was not any bad weather and that made them dangerous for many reasons.

Reached the first Mall without incident and stopped in at the diner for breakfast. The food was good and I enjoyed the service and the people who were also out and about at that time.

Spent money at that Mall as well as at several other Malls and had fun spreading the wealth here there and every where.

Exchanged my computer chair for one that had a seat back that actually locked in position. Just hate it when I lean back in the chair and it goes all the way to the floor.

The day flew past as I enjoyed spending money for the holidays. Before I knew it, it was afternoon already.

I headed home with all the rest of the holiday shoppers as the snow disappeared and the sun peeked out.

Read some sections of a project I am working on, watched TV, snacked, worked on the computer, and realized I was not going to get any sleep to night.

Yep, I was wide awake and the morning, day, evening, and night had sneaked away from me. Now I find myself still awake and it is 2:21 in the AM.

Not sure why the pills to subdue the pain and to make me sleep have not been working lately.
