Where did November go?
Sitting here at the keys gazing into the expanse of cyber space brought to mind that November is gone in several hours.
When did November arrive, what happened to it, and where is it going now?
Thinking back it is hard for me to remember when November arrived this year. Work has kept me very busy and out and about most of the year. So when was it that November arrived this year? Some where over Utah is when November arrived for me and the 27 others who were with me that day. We were flying to a location for excitement but only found the every day humdrum stuff that makes life normal. The job keeps me going but there are times I would rather not be out and about so much. When November arrived I was jotting down my thoughts in my journal maker where I keep all my thoughts, well most of them.
November has been a busy time for others and me since we have been talking to many young folks about the woes of college life and all the problems that college life brings to many. Toss in the restrictions of being in a college where life is restricted in many ways. Take away all the the fun parts of college most of us knew – and add the all seeing eye – and you might see what the problems at these colleges are and what problems are being faced in this particular job.
Faces, places and time have become a blur this November and will stay that way for the rest of this year and even the first few months of next year. Walking, talking and observing seem to be the way this job is going.
Writing up all the observations has taken lots of time and effort but the effort and time spent is working.
Here it is the last day of November and I am still lost in the world of October. However November will continue on into cyber space until called upon by us next year.
Happy holidays to all of you who write your deepest darkest secrets in your journals as well as the day-to-day humdrum stuff that makes life fun.
