Fun and Stuff

We’re off to Amsterdam in March! My friends from Loughborough are going for Sophie’s 30th birthday and we were invited to join them. It’s a long weekend Friday-Monday and we booked it the other day; £244 each for flights and three nights in a city centre hotel which isn’t bad. I can’t wait, I’ve always wanted to go to Amsterdam :o)

We’ve got everything booked in for our house makeover. Windows are ordered and should be ready to fit by the middle of the week, radiators are ordered and Jay’s cousin’s husband is going to fit them as he’s a central heating engineer. We ordered the living room carpet today and we can call them to come and fit it whenever we want, which is cool. We want the carpet put in last so it doesn’t get dirty or anything while the windows and radiator are being put in.

Next weekend I’m meeting up with another Internet Weirdo. Beatrix Plotter who I started reading on OpenDiary lives about a mile away from where I work and yet we’ve never met up. She’s invited me and Jay to her birthday night out in Birmingham next Saturday so that should be fun. Yay, for Internet Weirdos :o)
